We were very proud yesterday, when our son came home from school with a note from Totley CRIC. Its the first time we've seen the logo we designed for the library group out in use. Save Totley Library were, happily, successful in their campaign and they now run the library themselves. We evolved the original logo we created for the campaign to reflect their new supporting roll and to include the new, if rather long, name.
Sam has been busy designing the new online magazine, Riddle. The web coding and styling is still being perfected but the content is coming in thick and fast. Issue 2 is out now. Sam is even finding time to venture across the design boarders and is writing some of the words too!
We had a lovely day then danced the night away celebrating our friends, Mat and Nicole's wedding.
It sounds rather too corporate for such a personal day, but it was great to see the wedding 'branding' we created. The badges were a favourite. See the invitation design on our earlier post.
Big congratulations to you both!
We were very happy this morning to receive an invitation to our good friends' wedding. It wasn't a total surprise though, because we designed it! (the invitation, not the romance)
Mat and Nichole wanted something a bit different for their wedding stationary that reflected their mutual love of music so we design a record label for the day with a logo. This was made into badges for the guests . A few more images from he day can be seen here
Our logo for the Save Totley Library campaign has done it's job and although, as expected, the council are pulling out, we are delighted that the library will be kept open and run by the local people. A new start, a new name and a new logo is on the way! (Is a fiery phoenix an appropriate logo for a library?…)
